This document highlights the roles that Nafas is hiring for, and a little more about the way that we do things.

If you don’t like really hard problems, or don’t like learning - just stop here. Nafas is not for you.

📝 Background

nafas is Indonesia’s largest air quality platform focused on helping people live healthy lives in polluted cities.

Air pollution and it’s impact on the human body is misunderstood - one of the key reasons why there is not enough sense of urgency around the topic.

We’re going to change that through data and an intuitive user experience.

We’re looking for smart, hungry and passionate individuals to join our team - to build a completely new and non-existent community around people who want to breathe healthier lives.

But before reading more about how we do things, start by checking out the following links to learn more about the issue:

Still interested in joining the mission to help people breathe healthy air?

⬇️ Learn more about us below ⬇️

🌬️🍃About Our Mission

You’ve learned by now that air pollution is one of the world’s leading causes of illness and disease. That’s especially true in Indonesia as well, where the problem is actually completely underreported due to lack of data and knowledge. We’re going to change that.

Nafas wants to make access to healthy air quality easy and affordable.

Here are three core parts of our mission:

  1. Bring access to air quality data to millions of Indonesians.
  2. Make air pollution easy to understand and healthy lifestyles easy to implement.
  3. Keep the costs of healthy air affordable, so as many people as possible can.

We’re doing this by building an end to end ecosystem which combines:

  • Data - outdoor and indoor
  • Devices - monitoring and filtration
  • Experiences - mobile app, Clean Air Zone subscriptions, habit development

Nobody in Indonesia has ever done this before, which is why trust and thought leadership is mission critical.

🥰 About What We Value & How We Work

The mission is big. Like REALLY BIG. That’s why we’ve defined the values that are important for us and how we are structured from a working perspective.

That’s why you’re reading the values before reading about the role. If these don’t resonate with you, then stop here.

What We Value

Nafas is building the next health and wellness consumer category around air quality, through an array of products, services and technologies that encompass the entire urban ecosystem - residential, commercial and public.

Our platform combines hyperlocal air quality data and connected hardware solutions to provide a unique end-to-end solution which serves to inform and improve the health & wellbeing of urban residents.

In short, we are building technology to help people breathe healthier, that will in turn help them live better and longer lives.

How We Work

  • Hybrid Remote/Office Model - different roles have different levels of WFH/WFO balance. Although we highly suggest to meet up with the team at least 1-2 times per week.
  • Results-driven output - the mission is clear and the contribution of each role is also clear. For this role specifically, results are reflected in content and community. We need to build from 0.
  • Flexible time off - Getting rest is just as important as getting things done.

And last but not least, you’ll have direct impact on the daily life and health of thousands of Indonesians today and millions of people in the future.
