SANA Studio Joins the Clean Air Club by Nafas
Bringing Clean Air Awareness into the Fitness Lifestyle
Over the past few years, health has evolved from a trend into a lifestyle. People are becoming more mindful about what they eat, how they sleep, and how often they exercise. From yoga and HIIT to strength training and barre, fitness studios have become important spaces where communities build healthier habits together.
But there is one factor of health that often goes unnoticed: the air we breathe while exercising.
That’s why Nafas launched the Clean Air Club, a collective of gyms, studios and wellness spaces where healthy air is guaranteed, monitored, and filtered.
From yoga studios, cycling stations, functional training hubs, pilates studios, and wellness spaces that go beyond fitness.
They’ve already invested in the best equipment, expert instructors, and beautiful environments.
Now, they’ve taken it one step further, by ensuring the air you breathe while you move is just as healthy as the lifestyle you’re building.
Because health isn’t just about what you do. It’s about what surrounds you.
Now, SANA Studio has joined this movement.
As a boutique lifestyle studio offering group classes ranging from Yoga, Barre, to HIIT, SANA Studio has long been a place where people come to move, sweat, and recharge. By becoming part of Clean Air Club, the studio is expanding its commitment to wellness, not just through movement, but through clean indoor air.
Why Air Quality Matters During Exercise
When We Move More, We Breathe More
During exercise, our breathing rate increases significantly. A person doing moderate to intense physical activity can inhale 2–5 times more air than when resting.
This means that the quality of the air inside a workout space becomes critically important.
While many people already prioritize:
- healthy nutrition
- proper recovery and sleep
- consistent workouts
indoor air quality is often overlooked.
Yet polluted air, especially fine particulate matter known as PM2.5, can affect respiratory health, cardiovascular health, and even athletic performance.
Fitness spaces therefore have a unique opportunity: they can become places that educate communities about clean air, not just places where people exercise.
Air Quality Data: What the Studio Environment Looks Like

Monitoring the Air We Breathe Indoors
Air quality monitoring data from April 1–7, 2026 shows a clear difference between outdoor air and the air inside SANA Studio.
During this period, outdoor PM2.5 averaged 43 µg/m³, a level considered unhealthy for sensitive groups. Meanwhile, indoor PM2.5 inside the studio was only 2 µg/m³, indicating very clean air conditions.
This difference shows that the indoor environment at SANA Studio is able to maintain cleaner air, allowing members to exercise more comfortably and breathe easier during their sessions.
From Fitness Community to Clean Air Community
Educating Members About the Air They Breathe
SANA Studio has always been more than just a workout space. It’s a community hub for active lifestyles.
By joining Clean Air Club, the studio is helping introduce a new dimension to wellness: air awareness.
This initiative encourages members and visitors to start thinking about questions such as:
- What is the air quality where I exercise?
- How does indoor air compare to outdoor pollution levels?
- What steps can spaces take to keep indoor air healthier?
The goal is simple: make clean air part of everyday wellness conversations.
A Growing Movement in the Fitness Industry
